Mike Matthews Award – Dedicated to the memory of our dear friend and colleague and awarded to the homicide investigator who has displayed the courage, tenacity and compassion that are hallmarks of Mike Matthews’ legacy.
LyndaShawAward – For vigilance and dedication demonstrated in historic (cold-case) homicide investigations.

OHIA Merit Award - Presented to persons who, throughout the Province of Ontario, have made a significant contribution to homicide investigations or to homicide training and education.
These awards, presented annually at the banquet held during the homicide workshop, are intended to recognize outstanding performance of individuals and teams in various aspects of homicide investigation.
