OHIA 2022 Conference POSTPONED “Greetings OHIA Members, Members of the OHIA Executive and Workshop planning committee have continued to closely monitor the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic including concerns related to public and member safety; provincial rules, regulations, and restrictions related to gatherings and social distancing; and policies of member Services as they relate to training, travel, and meetings/gatherings. Although COVID-19 numbers in Ontario have been trending in a positive direction and the provincial government has laid out their reopening plan, the planning committee and the Executive have determined that there are still too many unknowns and variables to permit us to present the 2022 workshop. Therefore the difficult decision has been made to cancel plans for 2022. The planning committee and the Executive are now turning their attention to the 2022 OHIA Homicide Workshop which once again will be held at the Embassy Suites, Niagara Falls Oct 31 - Nov 4, 2022.
